We're hiring a Lead Accountant and Office Manager to keep our operations running smoothly at our dealership in Roca, NE (just outside Lincoln). If you're detail-oriented, love numbers, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this full-time role could be your next career move!

Key Responsibilities:- Handle all in-house accounting:
Enter payable invoices, process daily bank deposits, manage sold unit payoffs, and reconcile cash drawers. - Payroll processing for 15-20 employees (bi-monthly plus monthly commissions), bill payments, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet & P&L).
- Compliance wizard:
Work with our CPA for year-end taxes, file sales tax, property taxes, and ensure all federal/state forms are submitted on time (payroll via ADP). - Inventory tasks:
Enter major units into Lightspeed software, create "Deal Jackets" for paperwork, and assist with quarterly floor plan audits. - Office support:
Manage incoming mail, answer phones as backup, and become efficient in Lightspeed. - Supplies management:
Keep stock of office essentials like paper, forms, toner, etc. - Backup for finance department (as needed)
- Strong accounting background with experience in payroll, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Lightspeed a plus – training provided!).
- Ability to work independently with high accuracy and meet deadlines.
- Competitive pay: $26/hour.
- Flexible schedule: 30-40 hours/week, Mon-Fri (9 AM - 5:30 PM, with lunch break). No overtime expected, and flexibility for personal needs with advance notice.
