Position: AVID Tutor-LHS ~ 2025 - 2026 School Year
The Western Placer Unified School District and its 13 schools and an independent study program are located in the communities of Lincoln and Sheridan, California. These communities rest at the base of the Sierra Foothills in picturesque Placer County. Lincoln is approximately 30 miles northeast of Sacramento, our state's capital. Currently enrolled in a two-year Community College or a four-year college or university in order to model college enrollment for AVID students. Under the direction of the site administrator and/or AVID Program coordinator/teacher facilitates the Socratic method of tutoring for College-Preparatory reading, math, science, foreign language, and social science tutoring services to students enrolled in AVID classes. This is a one-year contracted position.
