RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for our Oncology Unit Morris Cancer Center
- Unit 8 in our New Brunswick Facility.

A Day in the Life of a Clinical Care Tech (Video Link Below)

• The CCT is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients including taking vital signs, EKGs, performing phlebotomy, assisting or providing patients with bedside care (e.g., bathing, mouth care, skin care).
• Provide patient care based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service.
• Provide for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions.
• Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient’s care.
• Participate in collaboration of the patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) through American Heart Association.

Preferred:

• Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred.
• Certified nursing assistant preferred.

• Day Shift, 24 hours per week (3 shifts per week), 7a-3:30p, includes every other weekend and some holidays.

• Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding patient status.
• Collaborate on the patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.
