The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered will depend on factors including education, skills, and professional experience.

• The CCT is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients including taking vital signs, EKGs, performing phlebotomy, assisting or providing patients with bedside care (e.g., bathing, mouth care, skin care).
• Provide patient care based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the age of patients in assigned service.
• Contribute to effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient care.
• Participate in collaboration of the patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) through American Heart Association.

Preferred:

• Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program.
• Certified nursing assistant preferred.

• Evening Shift, 16 hours per week (2 shifts per week), 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, includes every other weekend and some holidays.
