Job OverviewRWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for our Oncology Unit-10 in Morris Cancer Center, at our New Brunswick Facility.

QualificationsRequired:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic Life Support (CPR) through American Heart Association
Preferred:
- Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred.
- Certified nursing assistant preferred.
- Evening Shift, 16 hours per week (2 shifts per week), 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, including every other weekend and some holidays.
- The CCT is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients including taking vital signs, EKGs, performing phlebotomy, and assisting with bedside care (e.g., bathing, mouth care, skin care).
- Provide patient care based on physical, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service.
- Provide for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions.
- Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient’s care.
- Participate in collaboration of the patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.
