Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lincoln City, Oregon. The Sous Chef will assist in running kitchen operations, oversee food preparation, maintain food safety standards, and manage kitchen staff during shifts. Additional responsibilities include assisting with ordering supplies, ensuring food quality, creating daily menus, and providing support to the Executive Chef. The role requires leadership skills to supervise team members and ensure smooth kitchen operations, particularly during peak service hours.

Qualifications
  • Proficient culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating
  • Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, kitchen hygiene practices, and inventory management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Previous Sous Chef or culinary management experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or equivalent on-the-job training and experience
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
