Hours per week: 40 hours

• Follow all dairy operations and merchandising programs.
• Order and receive all dairy products, ensuring correct quantity, weight, and condition.
• Inspect deliveries, prepare, handle, stock, and merchandise dairy items, and maintain back‑room storage checks.
• Plan special promotions and displays with the Store Manager.
• Rotate dairy merchandise according to code‑dating policies.
• Manage signage, gross profit, and inventory control, including quarterly physical inventories.
• Determine Manager’s Specials to balance quality and profitability, and report markdowns and losses to the Store Director.
• Maintain dairy department fixtures, equipment, and area free of accident hazards.
• Operate ordering machine, pallet jacks, hydraulic baler, and case cleaning equipment.
• Perform sweeping, cleaning, and sanitation duties in the cooler and on the sales floor.
• Operate telephones and intercoms with proper etiquette.
• Provide courteous and friendly customer service.
• Train personnel assigned to the dairy department.
• Follow and implement all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Reading and writing skills.
• Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to work in temperatures of 32–40°F for up to 20 minutes repeatedly during a shift.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Provide verbal and physical assistance to customers.
• Lift, move, and stack up to 50 pounds.
• Pull or push wheeled vehicles weighing up to 1,000 pounds.
• Reach and stock product up to 6 ft. high.
• Basic computer skills.
