Join ALDI’s retail team as an Assistant Store Manager and lead store operations, elevate customer service, and develop high-performing teams.

• Support the Store Manager in driving day‑to‑day store operations, ensuring excellence in product assortment, inventory control, and loss prevention.
• Develop and execute action plans that improve store performance, including sales, profitability, and customer experience.
• Co‑manage store staffing, scheduling, training, and development to build a cohesive and motivated team.
• Manage store merchandising, product presentation, and signage to maximize sales and product freshness.
• Interpret and apply company policies, procedures, and safety standards while upholding data confidentiality.
• Lead issue resolution and escalations, ensuring continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in the hiring, interviewing, and onboarding of new store personnel.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain competitive positioning and operational excellence.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lb while stocking, shelving, and stocking items at various heights.
• Require regular sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking in the store environment.
• Must perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

• 18 years of age or older.
• 3 + years progressive experience in a retail or customer‑service environment (management preferred).
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and team‑management skills.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and performing general cleaning duties.
• Ability to set goals, give performance feedback, and drive employee results.
• Valid driver’s license (local requirements may apply).
• Eligibility to handle and sell alcoholic beverages (state requirement).

Starting Wage: $25.50 per hour.
Year 2 Increase: $26.50 per hour.
Hours: 38 per week
