• Wait for customers in a prompt, courteous, accurate, and efficient manner, using suggestive selling and maintaining high‑quality customer relations.
• Prepare, handle, stock, and store all department products.
• Rotate department product on a first‑in / first‑out basis.
• Ensure all product is stored in proper refrigeration.
• Stock product within the guidelines established by the department manager.
• Follow the regular cleaning schedule for equipment and cases.
• Operate equipment such as scales and slicers.
• Familiarize with weights and measures standards and the proper use of containers and packaging materials.

• Make price changes as requested.
• Operate stock dollies, mixing machine, slicers, ovens, scales, fryers, pricing equipment, and use knives and case cutters.
• Provide verbal and physical assistance to customers.
• Follow recipes and keep company recipes confidential.
• Perform freshness checks and recondition product.
• Operate hydraulic baler.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, and cleaning functions.
• Operate telephones and intercoms and practice proper telephone etiquette.
• Follow all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Read and write.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Lift and stack up to 50 pounds.
• Reach and stock product up to 6 feet high.

• Weekend availability.
