Acute Nurse Practitioner - Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine

Mercy Health - St. Ritas Pulmonary in Lima, Ohio is seeking a acute nurse practitioner to join our busy practice. We offer a family-oriented environment and positive culture where teamwork is valued and quality care for our patients is our top priority.

Highlights:

• Care for Pulmonary and Sleep patients both inpatient and outpatient.
• Absorb a current patient panel and grow patient volumes in a busy practice.
• Respond to patient phone calls during office hours, manage in-basket & patient results.
• Prescribe medications.
• Travel to satellite locations to provide patient care.
• Weekend inpatient hospital rounding treating current Pulmonary patients & new consults 1:6.
• Weekend call - 4:30 PM on Friday to 8 AM Monday morning.
• Work 1 holiday/year, rounding & call.
• Night call - 4:30 PM to 8 AM the next morning. Take calls from inpatient on results, patient condition and/or orders.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday-Friday, five 8-hour days. The office is open from 8 AM to 4 PM, M-R and 8 AM to 12 noon on Friday.
• Adult and Geriatric patient base (Ages 18 and up).
• Work with Medical Students and Residents
• Strong physician collaboration and exceptional clinical staff.

• Certified by AANP or like certification for Nurse Practitioners. Acute Trained NP
• Licensure with the state of Ohio as a PA-C or CNP.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
