Introduction
Embark on a meaningful journey as a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in OB/GYN. Based in Lima, Ohio, this assignment offers you the chance to deliver compassionate, expert care during one of life’s pivotal moments while exploring a region rich in culture and natural beauty. Starting 03/24/2026 for multiple weeks, you’ll join a supportive team devoted to safe, evidence‑based obstetric and gynecologic care.
This role is designed to broaden your clinical scope, deepen your collaborative skills, and empower you to shape positive outcomes for patients and families across diverse settings. Whether you’re drawn to the midwestern pace of Lima or the broader opportunities within our network, you’ll find a rewarding environment that values your expertise and your growth. From the rolling farmland of western Ohio to the lakefront and urban centers within reach, Ohio offers a spectrum of experiences that complement your nursing career.
Benefits
Lima sits in a welcoming, affordable part of western Ohio with strong hospital systems and a collaborative OB/GYN culture. You’ll work alongside physicians, midwives, and experienced nurses in a setting that prizes teamwork, patient advocacy, and professional development. The assignment also provides the possibility of rotating to partner facilities across the U.S., exposing you to different patient populations and care models.
Ohio’s landscapes invite exploration—Hocking Hills’ forest trails, Lake Erie shorelines, and family‑friendly towns—with vibrant local events, arts, and dining. You’ll have the chance to experience diverse communities while enjoying a reasonable cost of living and easy access to Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati for weekend trips or additional clinical experiences.
Role responsibilities include prenatal assessment and education, labor and delivery support, postpartum care, and gynecologic recovery. You’ll triage and monitor labor, assist in procedures, and coordinate care with physicians, midwives, nurses, lactation consultants, and social workers. You’ll document in the EMR, participate in safety and quality initiatives, and contribute to patient‑centered discharge planning. The position offers robust professional growth: exposure to varied OB/GYN cases, high‑risk obstetrics, and opportunities to expand competencies through continuing education and cross‑site rotations.
Compensation features a competitive weekly rate of $2,060‑$2,114 with guaranteed 36 hours per week, plus extension opportunities and a path to longer assignments. We provide a sign‑on or completion bonus, plus housing assistance to secure comfortable accommodations near your assignment. Additional stipends may apply and are detailed during onboarding. You’ll receive comprehensive support from a dedicated 24/7 travel team, including clinical and logistical assistance, ensuring you’re never alone on the road.
