RoleRegistered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Critical Care) – St. Rita's Medical Center — Full-Time Nights. Could be eligible for a sign-on bonus!
Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional nursing care by utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status
- Determine the priority of the patient’s problems and needs
- Implement clinical nursing interventions for acute, critical patients requiring intensive medical care
- Develop and perform patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Conduct and analyze initial and ongoing patient assessment, create a plan of care, implement treatment, and evaluate effectiveness
- Synthesize and prioritize information to take immediate, evidence-based, patient-focused action using clinical judgement and inquiry
- Anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
- Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and organization policies
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred, not required)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (preferred, not required)
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required within 6 months of hire)
- 1 year of RN experience (required)
- 6 months RN experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit (preferred)
