Facilities Specialist Job Lima area,Ohio USA,Maintenance/Cleaning

WOCAP, a local non-profit organization, is seeking qualified candidates for a Facilities Specialist. This position will include roughly 20 hours per week doing delivery tasks and 20 hours doing janitorial/facilities tasks.

Responsibilities include:

Coordinating and performing delivery of food service items, supplies, and inventory to agency sites.

Assist with maintaining inventory records and ensuring proper storage and handling standards are met.

Support food service operations as needed to ensure continuity of services.

Maintain accurate records related to deliveries, cleaning schedules, and maintenance support.

Perform routine janitorial duties including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining common areas, offices, restrooms, and program spaces.

Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and supplies are stocked.

Assist with deep cleaning, room set up, and special event preparation as assigned.

Help coordinate maintenance requests, vendor access, and follow up as directed.

Assist with monitoring facility conditions and identifying maintenance or safety issues. Report concerns to appropriate personnel.

Support basic maintenance tasks within the scope of training and policy, including outside maintenance needs such as lawn care and snow removal as requested. Serve as a back-up to the Facilities Coordinator for maintenance-related needs.

Perform other related duties as assigned to support agency operations, while maintaining compliance with agency policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.

Bending, stretching, and lifting required.

Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds on a regular basis.

2 years' experience preferred; experience with janitorial equipment needed.

Must be a reliable, self-motivated individual able to follow instructions and communicate with staff and vendors.

Valid Ohio driver's license, current vehicle insurance required. Ability to check electronic mail and enter data into appropriate databases.
