Overview

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Phlebotomist to support a medium‑paced back‑office environment, working with approximately 10-20 patients per day. This role is ideal for someone experienced in both phlebotomy and specimen processing, who enjoys a mix of patient interaction, hands‑on lab work, and administrative support.

Responsibilities

+ Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens with accuracy and professionalism

+ Complete specimen processing, including spinning/centrifuging, freezing, and preparing samples for send‑out

+ Manage data entry and update patient charts as needed

+ Conduct billing and insurance verification, including ABN processing

+ Ensure proper handling, labeling, and documentation of all samples

Required Skills & Experience

+ Phlebotomy schooling completed

+ 1+ years of phlebotomy experience, including hands‑on experience with specimen processing

+ Strong knowledge of blood collection techniques, safety protocols, and sample preparation

+ Comfortable working independently in a busy environment

+ Friendly, outgoing, and patient‑focused personality

Preferred Qualifications

+ Phlebotomy certification (CPT)

+

Experience with Atlas or Sunquest computer systems

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lima, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
