Part‑time, 24 hours a week, 12 hour night shifts. Performs patient observation, documents patient care and response to care, and communicates significant information to the registered nurse and other appropriate team members.

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides basic care to non‑acutely ill patients.
• Assists in maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Performs duties under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Provides direct patient care for patients on the Patient Care Unit.
• Services as directed by the patient’s plan of care, including personal care and activities under the supervision of a Licensed Direct Care Giver and in conjunction with the Respiratory, Rehab, and Laboratory departments.
• Functions as a member of the Patient Care Team in conjunction with the Licensed Direct Care Giver.

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• High school graduate or GED.
• Successful completion of a Patient Care Training program.

• State Certified Nursing Assistant licensure preferred.
• BLS certification required.

• Minimum 6 months experience.
