Endocrinology NP or PA - Mercy Health Lima, OH

Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Endocrinology in Lima, Ohio is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our busy practice. We offer a family-oriented environment and positive culture where teamwork is valued and quality care for our patients is our top priority. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are a must. This provider will be a part of the team in the only Endocrinology & Pediatric Endocrinology Practice in the area.

This position will work with adults only.

This provider will regularly participate in resident physician education and must enjoy teaching. The normal activities of practice will encompass both inpatient and outpatient care.

• The successful candidate will collaborate with clinic physician in the evaluation and management of patients with endocrine and metabolic diseases at the St. Rita’s Endocrine clinic.
• Regular participation with Residents and medical students for education.
• Satellite clinic involvement is a possibility.
• Those with interest in and/or experience in diabetes management will be given priority

Education and Skills required:

• Certified by the NCCPA for Physician Assistant
• Certified by AANP or like certification for Nurse Practitioners
• Current licensure with the state of Ohio as PA or CNP
• Willingness to work in a collaborative setting.
