Nocturnist - ICU Mercy Health in Lima, OH

Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio is seeking a board certified/board eligible Internal Medicine Physician for nights coverage in the ICU. Work on a great team in a very collegial multi-specialty group. We are 1-2 hours from Dayton, Toledo, Fort Wayne, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Detroit.

• Nocturnist - 5 PM to 5 AM, 7 on, 7 off rotation.
• Coverage for the medical center at night in addition to admissions.
• APC assists with either rounding or admitting at night.
• Overnight admits range from 12 to 20.
• Arterial lines are not required but ultrasound is available if you would like to do them.
• No patients under the age of 16.
• Teach residents, medical students, and APC's.
• Most specialties represented except for burns and transplants.
• 407 bed count facility with a 10-county catchment area of 480,000+.
• Respond to Code Blues.
• Closed ICU.
• Competitive compensation and full benefits package.
• Agreements are based on 161 shifts.
• Eligible for Supplemental Executive Retirement plan at 181+ shifts (in addition to 403b with match).
• 8 weeks fully paid parental leave (father). Mother - 8 weeks fully paid plus 6-8 weeks at 60%.
