Role Summary
Our client, a global manufacturing organization, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations and financial close activities. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, supervising accounting staff, supporting audits, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the monthly financial close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation
- Prepare and distribute daily financial reporting, Rosa including cash receipts, shipments, and retail activity
- Monitor and report on capital spending performance against budget
- Manage monthly and quarterly tax filings
- Supervise, mentor, and develop financial accountants and invoicing specialists
- Support internal and external audit requests and documentation requirements
- Perform additional accounting and finance duties as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7–10 years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to month-end close processes
- Prior experience supervising or mentoring accounting staff
- Public accounting experience with a Big 4 or large regional accounting firm
The role is expected to be primarily onsite given the manufacturing environment.
