Part-Time | Approximately 10–12 hours per week

The Nett United Methodist Church is seeking a passionate and talented Director of Traditional Music Ministries (Choir Director) to lead and inspire our congregation through music and worship.

This part-time position oversees all aspects of the traditional music program, including directing the Chancel (adult) Choir, selecting music for worship, and collaborating with pastors and staff to create meaningful, spirit-filled worship experiences that reflect the mission and vision of The Nett Church.

• Plan and lead music for traditional worship services in coordination with the pastors.
• Direct the Chancel Choir for Sunday worship and special services (e.g., Christmas, Easter, Holy Week).
• Lead weekly choir rehearsals (Wednesday evenings).
• Recruit, and musicians.
• Collaborate with other ministry and music leaders to enhance worship experiences.
• Manage the traditional music budget, music library, and guest musicians.

• Strong musical and vocal skills; ability to lead choral and congregational music.
• Minimum two years of experience directing choirs (church or community setting).
• Bachelor’s degree in music or equivalent experience preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A demonstrated Christian faith consistent with the beliefs and mission of The United Methodist Church.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.

Approximately 10–12 hours per week, including Wednesday rehearsals and Sunday rehearsal and worship.

$30-$34/hour, commensurate with experience.
