As an Airport Security Professional - Curbside Patrol in Lihue, HI
, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and its facilities. You will drive, patrol, check, and secure doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist staff, visitors, and/or the public.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents, concerns, or observations at the location.
• Complete logs, incident reports, and other documentation as required by site procedures and Allied Universal policies.
• Support access control procedures for restricted areas and assist with crowd management during busy periods at the location.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and first aid skills are preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
