Job Description

As an Airport Security Professional - Airline Curbside in Lihue, HI
, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and its facilities. You will be involved in driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while supporting the location's overall mission.

Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee

Job Schedule: Daytime Fri 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM;
Sun 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You ll Do
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location, including interior and exterior areas, to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe any unusual or suspicious activity within the location.
  • Document and report incidents, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols to Allied Universal and/or site management.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and emergency response teams when necessary, following all site-specific guidelines.
  • Assist visitors and employees with questions or directions, providing a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location.
  • Participate in ongoing training and maintain awareness of security-related procedures relevant to the government environment.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
