Wilcox Medical Center is a not‑for‑profit acute care facility dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua‘i, it offers 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB‑GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology. Its 18‑bed emergency department serves as the island’s Primary Stroke Center.
As a Patient Information Specialist, you will help ensure that Wilcox Memorial Hospital maintains the highest standards of excellence, security and privacy in the management of our patient records. You will be responsible for processing and releasing patient information. We are looking for someone highly organized and meticulous who pays attention to detail and protocol, can manage and structure complex information systems and shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications- High School or equivalent. One (1) to three (3) years of experience, training or exposure to medical terminology or practice. External customer/public interaction.
- In depth clinic and hospital medical record review and release experience or training.
