Your role will involve preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen standards, and working closely with our dedicated staff to enhance our menu offerings. Responsibilities
  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and menus.
  • Supervising and coordinating kitchen staff during service.
  • Assisting in the planning and development of seasonal menus and daily specials.
  • Monitoring portion sizes, food costs, and waste control to ensure profitability.
  • Ensuring compliance with all food hygiene, health, and safety standards (HACCP).
  • Managing stock rotation, ordering, and storage of ingredients.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of all kitchen areas.
  • Training and supporting junior kitchen staff as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ full-time professional experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen environment.
  • Qualification at or above RQF Level 3 (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery or equivalent).
  • Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality.
