Description:A School Bus Driver provides safe and efficient transportation so that students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the district's curriculum and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications:- License:
• Required – Valid Drivers License and willingness to be trained by the District to receive a CDL license and Illinois School Bus Permit.
• Preferred – Valid Drivers License with CDL endorsement and Illinois School Bus Permit. - Education:
• Required – High School Diploma or Equivalent. - Experience:
• Preferred – Prior school bus driver experience and Spanish speaking ability are a plus.

Must pass state or federal medical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and criminal background check; maintain a minimum three‑year excellent driving record with no suspensions or DUI convictions; and be able to drive and perform all duties essential to safe school bus operation.
