We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our on-site sales team in Libertyville, IL. This is an inside sales, individual-contributor role focused on identifying opportunities, developing customer relationships, and supporting deals from initial outreach through negotiation and close.
You will work closely with CES leadership on active opportunities, gaining direct exposure to deal strategy, negotiations, and contract development. This role offers real responsibility, visibility into high-value transactions, and the opportunity to grow within a specialized and highly lucrative industry.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct outbound outreach to prospective customers to identify and develop sales opportunities
- Manage inbound sales inquiries and qualify customer needs
- Prepare and distribute quotes, equipment information, and supporting sales materials
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to advance opportunities toward close
- Research and proactively contact companies not currently in our database
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships across all levels of an organization
- Participate in sales negotiations alongside CES management and leadership
- Assist with drafting contracts and supporting deal close activities
- Accurately track leads, communications, quotes, and opportunities in Hub Spot CRM
- Collaborate closely with internal sales, operations, and technical teams
- Develop strong working knowledge of industrial equipment, services, and market dynamics
- Travel occasionally to customer sites, plant inspections, or trade shows (less than 15% annually)
- Previous sales experience, preferably in B2B or inside sales
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging decision-makers professionally
- Ability to communicate confidently with senior executives and stakeholders
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple complex opportunities
- Motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented
- Experience using CRM systems (Hub Spot experience is a plus)
- Base salary + uncapped commission structure based on gross profit
