Overview
The Marina Attendant is responsible for providing Independence Grove patrons with proper boat rentals and safety information. Monitors lake and weather conditions via observation and weather forecast, in order to warn patrons of potential safety concerns, and monitors equipment logs to locate patrons in the event of an emergency. The Marina Attendant will also conduct daily maintenance of the marina area and the entire preserve, including trash collection and scheduled maintenance on all equipment and rental craft.
Performs heavy lifting tasks up to 50 pounds. Performs tasks that will require walking, bending, stooping, rowing, peddling, standing, kneeling, climbing, reaching and sitting.
One year experience in customer service and/or retail. Interest in operating watercraft.
Compensation and BenefitsAnticipated starting rate: $15.00
