Provides continuous machine support by continuously monitoring secondary equipment for uptime efficiency and equipment safety.

• Understands Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) impact to effectively communicate to Shift Leader repetitive breakdowns.
• Resolves ongoing machine related problems (full bowls, closing machine restarts, grinder jams and color changes, purge removal from nozzle leaks).
• Performs beginner-level preventative maintenance tasks (repairing conveyor, material jam, cleaning filters).
• Performs material changeovers (i.e., color changes, additives, etc.).
• Supply materials to the presses.
• Machine Operators are not authorized to perform start up after a set up.

• Restarts Injection Machines for mold protects, intermediate troubleshooting skills.
• Assess beyond mold protect for root cause.
• Fix minor cosmetic issues (burns, string flash).
• Exception may occur with some molds: BOA & IMC Molds are to be started by Techs only.
• (Machine Operators are not authorized to access, change or disable core monitor safety)

Maintains proper documentation for all materials and machines.

• Line clearances.
• Color changes
• Production Requirements changes.
• Total the scrap at end of the shift.

Supports and maintains all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.

Schedule:

days 6:00 am - 6:15 pm. 36 48 schedule (rotating days)

Base pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour depending on experience + skills
