POSITION:
Licensed Counselor/Social Worker/Psychologist (PhD, PsyD, LCPC, LCSW, LPC) with experience in Marital Counseling.

Life Place is currently looking for individuals to join our growing practice in Libertyville, IL. We are seeking practitioners committed to client compassion and growth, professional excellence, and personal development, who are also able to work within a spiritual frame of reference. Warmth, open-mindedness, and a desire to join a practice that feels like family is a must. Experience working with couples, children, and adolescents is a plus.

• 3 years experience working with clients. Specific experience in Marital counseling.
• Completion of graduate degree (MA, MSW, PsyD, EdD, PhD) from an accredited college or university.
• Capacity to integrate progressive Christian, Biblical, and spiritual frames of reference to counseling situations when clinically relevant.
• Possession of or pursuit of appropriate state licensure.

• Help your clients out. Get to know their hearts and help them do what they need to so they can find life and healing.
• Keep track of client scheduling and paperwork.
• Reach out to new clients, and stay connected to current ones.
• Attend weekly staff meetings/lunches, where you can let off steam, receive encouragement, and share your discoveries.
• Attend regular supervision meetings and talk about what’s going on with your clients... and with you!
• Work with our Administrative Manager to track client billing and payments.
• Get in touch (and stay in touch!) with the things that help you grow professionally, personally, and spiritually.
• Actively seek out client referrals and network in order to enhance our referral sources.

• Full-time, Part-time.
• Determine your own hours between 7am - 9pm.

For a full-time load of 25 clients/week, approximately = $50,000 to $90,000+ annually.

Life Place offers a 401(k) plan for full time counselors and will contribute 3% of your annual gross income, regardless of your participation in the plan.
