Views conflict situations as an opportunity to teach conflict resolution.

Qualifications- Post high school education or degree desirable.
- Develops positive relationships with a broad range of students, staff, and community members.
- Able to demonstrate patience and gain students' cooperation.
- Demonstrates good listening skills and communicates effectively.
- Able to confront students when appropriate and hold them accountable for their actions.
- Demonstrates proficient use of English language in written and oral forms.
- Use/operate technology and equipment related to the position/job.
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
Building Principal.
SUPERVISES:
Students, building and campus grounds.
Maintains an atmosphere conducive to learning, is able to confront students when their behavior is unacceptable, and develops a positive and cooperative relationship with students.
Essential Functions- Monitor halls, washrooms, locker rooms, parking lots and surrounding campus, etc.
- Supervise cafeteria.
- Supervise bus loading.
- Supervise and monitor students in structured study and/or in-school detention.
- Building supervision before and after school.
- Work with other school personnel to provide a safe and orderly school environment.
- Provide supervision and security after school, at extracurricular events and other occasions as requested by the supervisor.
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
