Libertyville School District 70 has a potential opening for a Behavior Management Specialist (BCBA) for the remainder of the school year. Benefits include: 2 Personal and 12 Sick days; $2,200 Tuition Reimbursement;
Life, Medical and Dental Insurance; annual $550 457 Contribution; and $400 Workshop/Conference Allotment. (Prorated to the start date)
The salary is based on the placement on the Salary Schedule.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree or higher in School Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, School Social Work, Educational Specialist or related field
- Possess Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification (BCBA) or working towards the certification
- Experience writing behavior plans for students with behavior difficulties, to include students with Autism, emotional disturbance, TBI, etc.
- ABA or similar research-based training experience and training
Purpose: The Behavior Management Specialist will work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement behavior intervention plans and directly support students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
