Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry Float Pool position with night shifts and a MO or compact license required.

• Work in the Telemetry Float Pool at a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715
• Required to float based on skills and is prioritized as first to float
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage is required
• No on-call requirements
• Initial orientation includes a multi-day facility and clinical orientation
• Float assignments are based on current skill set and unit needs
• This is a nicotine-free facility
• Some holiday coverage is required as part of the rotation
• All local and travel candidates will be considered except for Great Bend campus 60-mile radius rules

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of Medical-Surgical or Telemetry experience required, specifically with Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitroglycerin
• Progressive Care (Step-Down) or ICU experience preferred, including knowledge of meds such as Levophed, Nicardipine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Neosynepherine, and Dobutamine
• TNCC certification required only if candidate has ICU experience
• New graduates are not accepted
