Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a MO or compact license and advanced certifications for a night shift opportunity.
Responsibilities- Position is in the ICU within a hospital setting
- Care for critical care patients, including cardiac, thoracic surgery (CTS), and neuro populations
- 12-hour night shifts from
- Required to work every 3rd weekend
- Floating required to Stepdown/PCU units as needed
- Holiday coverage includes one major and one minor holiday
- Orientation includes two days of general orientation and up to three days of department-specific training
- Candidates must be nicotine-free
- On-call and cancellation may occur depending on census and staffing levels
- Facility accepts both local and travel candidates at the same bill rate except for specific campuses
- Active MO or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent ICU RN experience
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Trauma experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center strongly preferred
- Experience with CTS and neuro patient populations preferred
- Completion of TNCC preferred
- This position does not accept new graduates
