Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry Float Pool RN with MS/Telemetry experience and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications for night shifts.

• Hospital-based Telemetry Float Pool position
• Works with medical-surgical and telemetry patient populations
• Float assignments based on skills, with travelers prioritized to float first
• 12-hour night shifts from
• Weekend work required every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Some holiday shifts required
• Clinical orientation is provided across multiple days and units
• Facility is nicotine-free
• Must be willing and able to float to various units as needed
• Required to attend comprehensive orientation sessions prior to clinical shifts
• Both local and travel candidates are accepted for this position

• Active MO or compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum experience in medical-surgical and telemetry care, including management of Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitroglycerin
• Progressive Care (Step-Down) experience with drugs such as Levophed, Nicardipine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Neosynepherine, and Dobutamine and ICU experience strongly preferred
• TNCC certification required only if floating to ICU
• No new graduates accepted
