Imagine delivering impactful language, voice, fluency, and swallowing interventions across varied settings, from outpatient clinics to schools and community programs.

Role Specifics and Benefits

As a Speech Language Pathologist in this travel assignment, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a broad spectrum of communication disorders, voice and resonance issues, fluency disorders, and swallowing disorders across pediatric and adult populations. Your responsibilities include comprehensive screenings, formal and informal language evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions. You’ll monitor progress, adjust goals, document outcomes, and communicate findings with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

Collaboration is central: you’ll partner with schools, clinics, and rehabilitation teams to optimize therapy plans, advocate for patient needs, and support transitions between settings.

The position emphasizes professional growth within the specialty, with opportunities to specialize in areas such as early language development, adult aphasia rehabilitation, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), or dysphagia management. We offer a competitive package that includes a signing bonus and/or performance-based incentives, inclusive housing assistance, and the possibility of contract extensions to continue your impact beyond the initial assignment. You’ll receive robust, 24/7 support from our travel program—dedicated clinician coordinators, clinical consultants, and state-licensed professionals who can assist with scheduling, documentation, and any on-site needs while you’re on the road.

You’ll have access to continuing education resources, telepractice options when appropriate, and a collaborative network of peers to share best practices. Our aim is to reduce barriers to success and empower you to deliver exceptional care with confidence in every setting you encounter.

Role specifics also include a focus on cultural humility and family-centered care, ensuring that families are active partners in therapy decisions. You’ll work within interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, participate in case conferences, and contribute to program-wide quality improvement initiatives. The role supports sufficient time for reflective practice, documentation, and professional development, so you can stay at the forefront of SLP advances and achieve meaningful outcomes for clients across age ranges and etiologies.

In addition, our program highlights the value of career progression and a supportive work environment, where experienced clinicians mentor newer practitioners and all staff are encouraged to contribute ideas that enhance patient care and program efficiency. With the guaranteed hours listed at zero, you’ll still experience predictable scheduling through a well-structured travel framework…
