We have two clinics in the KC area, in Grain Valley, MO and Liberty, MO. This position is for our Platte Woods clinic that will open February 16, 2026. We are searching for Teachers to work in a hybrid RBT role and who are passionate about early education to inspire feelings of belonging and inclusion for autistic children and families with children who have autism.
Salary and schedule
:
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour. Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week. Job Types: Part-time, Full-time.

- Plan, organize and modify group programming.
- Manage, order, and set up supplies and materials for group programming.
- Coordinate environment setup (play spaces, materials, dramatic play, etc.).
- Facilitates client learning such as special days, creating learning/play environments, and integrating technology for the purpose of achieving success in academic, interpersonal, and daily living skills.
- Interact continually with clients for the purpose of educating them.
- Manage client behavior respecting bodily autonomy for the purpose of providing a safe and optimal learning and play environment.
- Organize and lead age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities for the purposes of ensuring client participation in learning activities.
- Model and instruct life skills such as play, socialization, clean-up activities, and listening skills for the purpose of demonstrating appropriate social behavior.
- Integrate academic skills specific to a given client into their session as appropriate and where needed based on an agreed upon plan with the clinical team and parents.
- Conduct Kindergarten readiness checklists as needed for clients and act on findings.
- Conduct quality 1:1 and group ABA therapy to clients in a clinic-based and/or community-based setting.
- Implement ABA treatment programs as written by the Clinical Supervisor.
- Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan utilizing data collection software.
- Provide hands-on, direct care while following the principles of ABA.
- Work collaboratively with intradisciplinary team including OT and Speech Therapy.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, including confidentiality and mandated reporting standards as set by Children With Opportunity.
- Maintain appropriate social distancing, safety, and enhanced protective hygiene practices both on and off the job. (We provide PPE, caregiver communication tools and practices, and limit exposure through small work groups.)
- Communicate clearly and effectively - both orally and written - with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goals.
- Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops to acquire further knowledge.
- Teaching certificate
- Degree in ABA, OT, SLP, Early Childhood Special Education or other related field
- Criminal background check
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a CPR certification
- Understanding of HIPAA and adherence to all policies
- Works with integrity and ethically
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on your feet as well as an ability to lift items up to 25 lbs on occasion
- Familiarity with the field of Autism Spectrum Disorder and ABA preferred
