Position Title:

Physician - Non-Invasive Cardiologist, Cardiovascular - Liberty

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a full-time Non-invasive Cardiologist to join its dedicated team on the Liberty Campus, where we prioritize collaboration, and patient-centered excellence.

The ideal candidate will be fellowship trained from an accredited institution and ABIM Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease.

The candidate will be employed through The University of Kansas Health System and will be a team member of Cardiovascular Medicine group on the Liberty Campus.

Clinical expectations include managing a population of ambulatory clinic patients as well as participate in imaging rotations and rounding rotations.

Call rotation will be similar to other non-invasive cardiologists for night call and weekend call.

Required Qualifications

• MD, DO or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology
• Eligible for medical licensure in Missouri and Kansas

Serving the healthcare needs of the community for over 50 years, Liberty Hospital is a 204-licensed bed medical center and Level II trauma, STEMI and Stroke center. Facility includes a 20-bed Intensive care unit with intensivists. Hospital’s mission is to work in partnership with our community to improve the health, safety, and well-being of those we serve. The hospital has consistently received accolades from the regulatory bodies and rating agencies for its focus on quality and safety Since joining the University of Kansas Health System in July 2024, there have been significant investments made in the infrastructure as well as physician recruitment in addition to opening of the new Cancer Center on campus.

The City of Liberty, Missouri is a suburb of Kansas City, commonly referred to as the “Northland.”
