Physician - Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Summary:
The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a full-time Non-invasive Cardiologist to join its dedicated team on the Liberty Campus, where we prioritize collaboration and patient-centered excellence. The ideal candidate will be fellowship trained from an accredited institution and ABIM Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease. The candidate will be employed through The University of Kansas Health System and will be a team member of the Cardiovascular Medicine group on the Liberty Campus.
Clinical expectations include managing a population of ambulatory clinic patients as well as participating in imaging rotations and rounding rotations. Call rotation will be similar to other non-invasive cardiologists for night and weekend call.
• Manage ambulatory clinic patients.
• Participate in imaging rotations and rounding rotations.
• Participate in call coverage for night and weekend shifts, in line with other non-invasive cardiologists.
Qualifications- MD, DO or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology
- Eligible for medical licensure in Missouri and Kansas

Serving the healthcare needs of the community for over 50 years, Liberty Hospital is a 204-licensed bed medical center and Level II trauma, STEMI and Stroke center. Facility includes a 20-bed Intensive Care Unit with intensivists. The hospital’s mission is to partner with the community to improve health, safety, and well-being. Since joining the University of Kansas Health System in July 2024, there have been significant investments in infrastructure and physician recruitment, including the opening of the new Cancer Center on campus.
