Liberty Hospital, now part of The University of Kansas Health System, is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to join its expanding team in delivering the highest quality of care. This position will support the mission of delivering the highest quality of care.
Position Title Physician - Vascular Surgeon, Liberty Hospital
This physician will have a strong interest in the care of patients with vascular disease with experience and training in medical management, endovascular therapy, and surgical intervention. They will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. This position offers an opportunity to provide exceptional clinical care, specializing in vascular diseases.
ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive care for patients with vascular disease, including medical management, endovascular therapy, and surgical intervention as appropriate. Contribute to a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and improve vascular outcomes. Participate in clinical practice that aligns with the mission of The University of Kansas Health System and Liberty Campus.
Qualifications- MD or DO degree required, or equivalent degree
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Vascular Surgery
- Completion of a Vascular Surgery Fellowship or integrated residency
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Missouri

Serving the healthcare needs of the community for over 50 years, Liberty Hospital is a 204-licensed bed medical center and Level II trauma, STEMI and Stroke center. Facility includes a 20-bed Intensive Care Unit with intensivists. The hospital’s mission is to work in partnership with our community to improve the health, safety, and well-being of those we serve. Since joining the University of Kansas Health System in July 2024, there have been significant investments in infrastructure and physician recruitment, including the opening of the new Cancer Center on campus.
