Overview
The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Kansas Cancer Center and The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an outstanding Radiation Oncologist to join our faculty at the Assistant Professor level. This position will be primarily located at The University of Kansas Health System community locations in the North Kansas City area.

The University of Kansas Cancer Center is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. It has recently received a $100 million lead gift to build a new, state-of-the-art destination cancer center.
The Department of Radiation Oncology provides cancer care services throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area with over 4,300 treatment courses annually. The department has grown over the past years and currently has 24 physicians. It is recognized nationally as a leader in cancer research, care, and education and is an integral part of The University of Kansas Cancer Center, the only NCI-designated cancer center in Kansas and in the Kansas City metro area.
Our world-class physician faculty provide compassionate and state-of-the-art care for KU Cancer Center patients. We are leading the way with research and clinical trials that aim to improve cancer treatments, increase cure rates, reduce treatment-related side effects, and improve quality of life. As a department of KU School of Medicine, we train the next generation of radiation oncologists and physicists with accredited residency programs.
