The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a full-time general Neurologist with headache experience to join its dedicated team on the Liberty Campus, where we prioritize collaboration and patient-centered excellence. The successful candidate will be board-certified in Neurology medicine. Outstanding candidates at earlier stages of their careers will be considered and are encouraged to apply. The position provides comprehensive care for patients in general neurology and headache clinics, performing inpatient consultations, and participating in on-call coverage.

• MD/DO or equivalent
• Board certified in Neurology
• Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri

Serving the healthcare needs of the community for over 50 years, Liberty Hospital is a 204-licensed bed medical center and Level II trauma, STEMI and Stroke center. The facility includes a 20-bed Intensive Care Unit with intensivists. The hospital’s mission is to partner with the community to improve health, safety, and well-being. Since joining the University of Kansas Health System in July 2024, there have been significant investments in infrastructure and physician recruitment, including the opening of a new Cancer Center on campus.

The City of Liberty, Missouri is a suburb of Kansas City, commonly referred to as the “Northland.” It offers an award-winning public school system, a local college, and a vibrant historic downtown with retail, dining, and business offices.
