Atlas Staffing is hiring for an Assembler (Kitting) for an assembly and distribution company in the technology industry. This is a full-time long-term temp position that may become permanent located in Liberty Lake. Apply now for this great opportunity!

• Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, and receives verbal instructions regarding the assembly of mechanical products.
• Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, and other holding devices.
• Gather (kit) parts/materials needed for production work orders
• Inspect parts for defects or discrepancies
• Assemble sub-assemblies or products from those kits
• Use hand tools, fixtures, jigs, etc.
• Follow work orders, blueprints, sample assemblies
• Test or inspect completed assemblies
• Move kits/parts around the warehouse or production floor (using carts, hand truck, maybe pallet jack)
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety / lean manufacturing guidelines
• Operate small hand and power tools to assemble products
• Operate manual and electronic equipment to test and analyze assembled products
• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets
• Crimps, screws, bolts, rivets, cements, press fits, and perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place
• May be required to operate a forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck
• Maintain a clean, well-organized and safe work area incorporating lean manufacturing techniques

Contributes to a flexible and productive team environment with active participation and suggestions for improvement.

• Ability to read, write legibly, and process basic math as typically acquired through completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience with lean manufacturing preferred but not required.
• Experience working in a team environment preferred.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM

Wage: $17.50/hr
