• Provide general customer service: help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
• Balance a cash register by processing transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
• Use appropriate methods to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Maintain cleanliness of your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, and pumps; complete trash removal as needed.
• Possibility of cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Physical ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior retail or cashier experience is not required as training is provided.
• Strong customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and use cash handling systems and point-of-sale technology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
