Overview
Proactive Personnel are currently looking for Plant Fitters to start work for our client based in Leyland.
Duties include:
- Performing routine servicing, emergency repairs, and maintenance of heavy plant, construction, and earthmoving machinery.
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults.
- Conducting inspections, testing, and signing off equipment to ensure it is safe for use.
- Removing, repairing, and replacing worn or faulty parts.
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably working on heavy plant machinery.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings, use welding equipment, and work with hand tools.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 05:45- 16:15. Overtime Available.
