We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the team at HMP Garth, a Category B male prison in Leyland.

The prison houses around 1500 men with a variety of health needs and within this role you’ll play an integral part in providing exceptional care for our patients.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support the mental health team onsite, being the first point of contact for the team!

This is a part‑time role, working 30 hours per week. You will work 4 days a week, with shift times 08:00‑16:00. Salary: £25,821‑£28,574 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

As our new Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

• Provide excellent admin support to the Mental Health team onsite, acting as the first point of contact.
• Work on the healthcare system (Systm One) – inputting mental health referrals and ensuring records are accurate, as well as running reports.
• Attend Single Point of Access meetings, taking away actions including referrals.
• Work with data provided by the team manager – investigating anomalies and producing reports.
• Deal with healthcare colleagues and other professionals over the phone, face‑to‑face and via email, delivering a high‑level service at all times.
• Attend meetings and take minutes as necessary.

• Experience with in an administrative role – any experience in a healthcare environment would be an advantage, such as a hospital or GP surgery.
• Any experience of using Systm One would be a bonus.
• Minute‑taking experience would be beneficial.

• Good IT skills, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc).
