Burgess Diagnostics is inviting experienced CT and MRI radiographers to join our Clinical Team on a flexible, bank basis across multiple UK locations.

We are also recruiting a part‑time radiographer in Belfast, 3 days a week. Bank will also be considered for this location.

These roles are ideal for radiographers seeking regular work or additional bank shifts alongside existing commitments. You’ll work as part of a supportive, specialist team delivering high‑quality diagnostic imaging directly to veterinary practices.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in MRI or CT is required, but previous experience in the veterinary sector is not essential as full training is provided.

We’re looking for skilled and passionate radiographers who can work autonomously and are keen to use their imaging expertise in a truly unique setting, making a real difference to animals and the veterinary teams who care for them.

No on‑call.

  • Bank staff – Days dependent on location as listed below – Competitive day rate.
  • Belfast role – Part‑time – £45,000+ depending on experience (reduced pro‑rate for part time). Bank applications will be considered.

  • Northumberland – Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
CT Bank Radiographers – Scotland (West Lothian)
  • Mondays & Tuesdays.
MRI Bank Radiographers – England (East Midlands)
  • Thursdays.
MRI Bank Radiographers – Scotland
  • Fife – Mondays.
  • Stirling – Tuesdays & Thursdays.
MRI Part‑Time / Bank Radiographer – Northern Ireland (Belfast)
  • Part‑time or bank, 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
  • Operate our medical‑grade mobile CT or MRI scanning units to deliver the highest standards of diagnostic imaging.
  • Work closely with veterinary teams, supporting critical diagnostics that directly inform patient care.
  • Provide excellent communication, customer service, and patient care at each site.
  • Use your radiography skills in a varied, mobile environment where no two days are the same.
Qualifications
  • Highly proficient in MRI or CT with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in your modality.
  • HCPC registered.
  • Eligible to work in the UK (we are unable to support overseas applications).
  • Comfortable working autonomously, with support from veterinary specialists on site.
  • Proven experience working independently in a clinical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of modality‑specific safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills; personable and professional in approach.
  • Highly organised with strong time‑management skills.
