About the RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Finance Assistant to support both sales and purchase ledger functions during a key period of growth and integration of new contracts. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and excellent data entry skills to join a dynamic and supportive finance team.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately process sales and purchase ledger transactions
- Match invoices to purchase orders and verify details
- Maintain and update customer and supplier accounts
- Assist with data entry and general finance administration
- Basic Credit Control duties
- Support the team during the integration of new contracts
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries promptly
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong data entry and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and flexible approach to work
- Experience with SAGE or similar finance systems
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
- A supportive and friendly working environment
- Fixed-term contract with potential for further opportunities
- Structured working hours with an early finish on Fridays
