Job Title: Teaching Assistant

A primary school in Leyland is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils until the end of the academic year. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a classroom environment and supporting children with a range of learning needs.
The position involves general Teaching Assistant duties, with a strong focus on SEND support, helping pupils to access learning and reach their full potential.
- Supporting classroom activities and lesson delivery
- Providing tailored support to pupils with SEND
- Working one-to-one or in small groups
- Helping maintain a positive and inclusive classroom
- Supporting behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Previous experience supporting children
- SEND experience preferred but not essential
- Calm, caring, and adaptable approach
- Commitment to supporting pupils’ progress
- £13.75 – £15 per hour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
