We are looking for a friendly and customer‑focused Hire Desk Controller to join our team in Leyland. Based in the depot, you will play a vital role at the heart of our operation, working on the front line of sales and customer service. Building strong relationships is key, as you will coordinate the entire hire journey, from taking the initial order through to delivery and collection, ensuring our customers receive a smooth and positive experience every time.
Your role will be primarily desk‑based, working closely with colleagues across the depot. You will regularly liaise with stock teams, drivers and engineers to make sure equipment is available, prepared and delivered on time, helping to keep everything running efficiently and with minimal delays for our customers.

Requirements- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills, both verbal and written
- A flexible and adaptable approach
- A genuine commitment to learning and personal development
- A full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in the hire industry or a similar sales or operational role
- The ability to support your team in delivering our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
Location:
Leyland onsite.
Hours:
42 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
