Hours

Hours are 2nd Shift
: 4:00pm‑2:30am, Monday‑Thursday

What your day‑to‑day will look like
  • Utilize production blueprints, parts lists, sketches, and verbal instructions to execute electronic or manual welding tasks, including standard and repetitive assembly operations.
  • Construct and assemble routine welded units such as subassemblies and mounted parts with precision.
  • Conduct visual inspections and adhere to established quality checks to ensure the highest standards are met.
To thrive in this role, you have
  • High school education or state recognized GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Practical welding test will be required for all candidates to assess skills.
  • Working knowledge of torch and plasma equipment is preferred.
  • General mechanical background preferred.
  • Fully understand manufacturing drawings, able to verify dimensions.
  • Capable of basic written and verbal communication in English.
Physical Demands
  • Comfortable working in a non‑climate‑controlled environment.
  • Job duties may require standing, walking, sitting, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using hands to handle objects or tools.
  • Frequent verbal communication is necessary; occasional tasks may involve detecting odors.
  • Ability to lift and/or move items up to 40 pounds is required.
  • Specific vision abilities include: close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.

Hourly rate for this position in Lexington, NC is $20.00 – $22.51, plus a 10% shift differential for second shift. The actual wage may be higher or lower depending on budget and candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
