Siemens Mobility Rolling Stock Division is the North American leader in the production of passenger locomotives, coaches, and light rail vehicles. We are looking for a Logistics Transport Technician to support a wide range of operational activities in a fast‑paced, high‑energy production environment.

Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 pm – 2:30 am

• Support rail vehicle movements throughout the facility.
• Apply mechanical knowledge to daily tasks and read/interpret blueprints.
• Prepare flatcars and load rail vehicles onto flatcars or tractor trailers according to established procedures.
• Secure rail vehicles using specialized tie‑down methods and materials.
• Conduct visual inspections and establish quality checks on all equipment and rigging.
• Operate hand and power shop tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with special activities throughout the facility as directed by the lead technician.
• Perform maintenance tasks based on production blueprints, parts lists, sketches, and verbal instructions, covering equipment used in production, transportation, or facility operations.
• Communicate clearly and follow instructions accurately.

• A high school diploma, state‑recognized GED, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
• At least one year of hands‑on experience operating equipment.
• Proven proficiency in various rigging methods and tie‑down techniques.
• A valid driver's license.

• Comfortable working in a non‑climate‑controlled environment when required.
• Standing, walking, sitting, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using hands to handle objects or tools.
• Frequent verbal communication is necessary; occasional tasks may involve detecting odors.
• Ability to lift and/or move items up to 40 pounds is required.
• Vision: close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
